Screen captures can come in very handy for lots of reasons. Want to capture what someone sent you in a message and then e-mail it to someone else, or maybe an easy to read shopping list you can put on your lock screen(see my previous post on this).
Maybe a screen shot of your top score or a settings page option, etc. There is more than one way to do this. One way I see people do this is by holding down the “Power” button at the top of the iPhone/iPod/iPad and then pressing the “Home” button twice (there is even a YouTube video showing this way). The only problem with that it stops the running app you are in and then locks the screen.
But wait! There’s more!
Sorry, too much caffeine maybe!
Instead, do this. Press the “Power” and ” Home” button at the same time and hold until you see the screen flash and you hear a shutter click sound and let go. Now, most of your apps will still be running and a screen shot will be in your camera roll!
